This is a great buy for the amount of value u get for 60 its worth it. Just alone tf2 is worth it but it is best if you get for the pc since people can create their own maps compared to xbox. Also xbox connections are horrific and its hard to find a decent game without lag.
On a personal note I did not like second life due to graphics… the game play might be great but the graphics are a need. I can stand playing outdated graphic games. I dont’ so much money to play cheesy old games unless its classics like zelda and such. Those games are worth playing over and over again.
Wow after building my gaming desktop getting the best does get expensive. I have a 22” lcd samsung sync master as well as top of the line hardware pieces that cost way other 1k. All I have to say is when I play games, damn is it worth it. I don’t think that gaming consoles can touch pc graphics just yet.
I think entering the gaming consoles era as a gamer is hard on the wallet. To want to play all of the games you need to have every system and that gets expense and sometimes each system is a let down and the games can be very easy to beat without very much replay value. I think computer games are more indepth and have a greater advantage because so many people like to creat programs, mods, and apps to this type of games. There is also a larger community to play with online.
I like this idea of creating games and researching them but putting restrictions as child hood games is limiting to be original. The only child hood games i played were tag catch, hide and seek. The classics but so many people already added concepts to them its hard to be original. There is only so much u can do as well with just applications for video games. The interesting part though is learning how casual games can become popular and why.
Adding sounds files to flash was a new thing to learn. Even though It didnt’ have to make sense some people went out of the way to make it perfect. I shoudl have went more out of my way to make it sound like it sound orginially had. I just thought of a few quick things I liked look them up and converted them into audio files to put onto the clip. I did run into trouble when i edited the clip idk so that I just decided to add audio to the whole thing. In the end it was fun
I recently stopped playing world of warcraft for 6 months and started playing console games again. After playing a few of the console games i realized that they value of the games is not as good as WOW and that wow had more replace value and was cheaper in the long run….to habit my gaming hobby. So I started playing Wow again and find it very entertaining with the customization, User interfaces, and various other things that computers offer over consoles. I think I will be playing this game for a long time or until antoher great mmo comes out because it more fun playing with people online and computer games are better because of the various things you can do for yourself.
This game is good if anything the storyline is pretty good. I hope the ending is good but i havent’ finished it yet….the game play is really good and the action is fun…after a while though it gets annoying saving citizens. The missions get alittle repetitive but its still fun just cause you want to know what happens next. 8/10
Title: Border Patrol
Short description: Border Patrol is a platform action game where you take the role of an INS agent who duty is to enforce the law. Immigrants are trying to enter your country illegally and you must do everything in your power to stop it. You must ensure that the law is upheld and not broken, this is your goal. In this game you play as a INS agent who uses nets to catch immigrants who are running loose. The goal of the player is to catch all of the immigrants in each level within a certain time but be warned make sure you don’t catch immigrants with green cards. In doing so will result in point and time deduction. If the player progresses through the game the more immigrants he will have to capture in a shorter amount of time. This will make higher levels more difficult to catch them all. For each catch the score is raised and the goal is to get the
highest possible score. Expected playing time is just a few minutes.
Game objects: There will be just many game objects: the INS agent, immigrants, immigrants with green cards, fences, and platforms. The fence object has a fence
like image. The platforms surrounding the playing area is made out of desert like surfaces. The fence
object allows for climbing. The platform allows for the player to reach higher areas. The
INS object has the image of a INS agent. He moves with a fixed speed. When the player shoots a net and catches the immigrant the score is raised with 10 points. Catching a immigrant with a green card will result in a 15 point deduction. The INS agent jumps to a platform by pushing your space bar and climbs fences by pushing up.
Sounds: We will use multiple sounds in this game. A jump sound is used when the INS agent jumps, a whoosh sound is used when the player shoots a net out, and immigrants make noises foreign noises when caught.
Controls: Space bar is to jump, up arrow key is to climb fences and the enter key is to shoot out nets.
Game flow: At the start of the game the score is set to 0. The room with the INS agent is shown along with the starting area which includes platforms, fences, and the target. The game immediately begins. When the player presses the key the game ends.
Levels: There is just two levels. The difficulty of the game increases because the time limit decreases after each level.
I think its cool that they allow fans of moutain dew to get involved with making a product that they would buy….good strat for marketing and its gives them a sense of what people like and the common things among their fans. Makes things alot easier and its allow for a good involvement from consumers in a product. It also allows a market test for how many people are that interested in mountain dew and a way into the minds of knowing which direction they should go.
